Concrete Pump Operator:
Concrete Pump Operators MUST be able to operate concrete line pumps to pour ready-mix concrete on construction sites.
They must be able to:
- Communicate with the customer as well as the customer's crew.
- Maintain tools, be able to drive, assemble and disassemble concrete pump lines, and collaborate with other workers.
- Maintain good condition of their truck, pump, and other equipment.
- Complete pre and post dispatch tasks.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
- Obtain a DOT medical card.
In some instances there will be shop work which consists of things like cleaning up the shop and shop yard, running errands, reorganizing things in the shop, etc.
Physical requirements:
- Adjusting or moving objects of up to 50 pounds in all directions.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds, roughly 20% of the time.
- Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds, roughly 70% of the time.
- Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more, roughly 10% of the time.
- Good vision with or without the aid of glasses is also required in order to properly perform this role.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments.
***Must have a valid driver’s license, a CDL is NOT required***

Concrete Pump Lineman:
Concrete Pump Lineman assists operators with setting up concrete pump lines and
communicating with the customer and their finishers, while also relaying any messages to the operator during the concrete pour. Linemen are responsible for assisting with the placement of the concrete and moving the lines during the pour.
They must be able to:
- Take direction from the senior pump operator.
- Communicate with the customer as well as the customer's crew.
- Maintain tools, be able to drive, assemble concrete pump lines, and collaborate with other workers.
- Maintain good condition of their truck, pump, and other equipment.
- Complete pre and post dispatch tasks.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
